MISSION

The Diversity Awareness Initiative for Students, DAIS, is an organization dedicated to strengthening our schools and ourselves, through increased knowledge, awareness, and respect for different cultures.  Its members are comprised of students from independent, public, and parochial schools, who wish to discuss and improve human relations within the community and society at large.

DAIS 8th Grade Meeting & Parent Introduction at St. Bernard's School

A meeting to introduce 8th grade students to DAIS!

An introduction and orientation session, as well as a chance to experience what it is like to participate in an exciting discussion session facilitated by some of our student leaders in DAIS who began their involvement in the 8th grade.

** Adults who chose to accompany their students will have the opportunity to meet with some of our DAIS Board members, alumni, as well as the Executive Director, for their own introduction to DAIS.

Get ready for an evening of fun at a Brooklyn Cyclones game with fellow DAIS students and alumni/ae!

Let the Brooklyn Cyclones (a Mets minor league team) 'take us out to the ball game' at historic Coney Island. Have fun and cheer for the Cyclones. Enjoy food and good company...even get a team cap! Tickets, food and cap vouchers are free!

There are 30 tickets available. First come first served!
